Frequently Asked Questions
I am interested in joining the swim club — how do I do this?
- To join the club you need to register. You can do this here. Registration is only open prior to and during the summer swim season covering Term 4 and Term 1. If registration is closed during this time, please contact us using the form at the bottom of the Home page.
We would like to trial a Club Night before registering — is this possible?
- New swimmers are welcome to trial a Club Night prior to registering (see Club Rules and Regulations M03). If you are interested, please contact the club using the contact form at the bottom of the Home page or email [email protected].
- For a trial, the swimmer will have a lane available for any strokes they wish to try over 25 metres.
- As our timing system imports nominations from the website, it requires registered swimmers to display correctly on the TV screens. Trial swimmers may not appear on screens at the start or during the race. Their time will show at the end as “Unknown”.
Does my child have to be a good swimmer to participate?
- Children of all swimming capabilities are welcome at Camp Hill Swim Club, from beginners to experienced senior swimmers.
- Children do not have to swim all strokes. Our nominations process is flexible — swimmers can choose which strokes to enter, from one to all four.
- The only requirement is that swimmers can complete 25 m unassisted, as this is the minimum race distance at Club Nights.
What is the cost of registration with the club?
- Registration fees are outlined here.
I am new to the club and have just registered — how do I set up my login password?
- As part of the registration process you will receive a welcome email with details on setting up your website password. If you experience any issues, please contact us using the form at the bottom of the Home page.

How do I nominate children for a Friday Club Night or Carnival?
- First, log in to the website. Then go to Upcoming Meets and Carnivals under “Meets” in the main menu.
- Meets open for nominations will display a green “Meet Entry Open” icon on the right. Click this to start your nomination.
- Select which children are attending. Available events will then display — choose the events your children want to swim, keeping in mind the time requirements to move to 50 m and Special Event races.
- When finished, click “Save” at the bottom of the page.
- Please also consider volunteering — all assistance is greatly appreciated.
