This year the Swim Club is paying a pool contractor (CARPS) to look after the pool to ensure the pool is clean, chemicals and salt are maintained at the correct levels and the water temperature is correct (not cold) and pool equipment is working correctly. To ensure the pool water temperature remains consistently warm a pool cover will also be installed this month.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly family-based Club. The committee welcomes family involvement in all areas. We have a timer, canteen and BBQ roster on Friday nights and all parents are asked to volunteer at least one night per season to help out.

We would like to thank Carly Stiler last year for keeping us up to date with the school newsletter Swim Club content and we are now seeking someone to fill this role for term 4 2020 and term 1 2021 – please message [email protected] if you are keen to take on this role.We are also seeking a club photographer so please let us know if you have time on Friday nights.

If you are able to help out at the POOL CLEAN UP DAY on Saturday 12 September (any time between 9am – 3pm) please email me your name/s and approx. start time as there is a lot to do to get the pool facilities ready for the swimming season. [email protected]

Learn 2 Swim, Training and Club nights may be affected by the weather, in particular storms and lightning. If you leave your child at training and we have a storm, then you are requested to come and pick them up immediately. On Club nights a decision to swim will be made by the Executive at 6.30pm on pool deck.

Please note all swimmers must wear a cap when in the pool as a matter of school policy. All swimmers are required to use their own cap, goggles, and flippers and the change rooms will remain closed on Club nights. Please refer to the attached COVID plan for full details of restrictions.
