Crocs - Club Night 12 and Carnival Information

Our first club night of 2024 is this Friday, 2 Feb (Club Night 12). We can’t wait to see you back at the Pool!

This week we have Individual Medley (IM) as the first event so that swimmers can practice before the upcoming IM Night later this term. We do have another club night practice before then too.

We need volunteers for this Friday night - please jump online and volunteer for any available positions. If these are not filled we cannot run the night, thank you for your help.

A reminder that the Pool Gates (including car parks) will open from 6pm. Please do not enter the school car parks before this time as it may mean the closure of these car parks to our club members. There is plenty of street parking if needed or hold off arriving until 6pm.

Next week (Club Night 13) will see our first sibling race of the year, so dust of those goggles and get ready race.

Are you interested in joining the committee?  We have several positions that will need filling for next season.  Perhaps you'd like to know a little bit more? Please feel free to ask a committee member for more information.  You could shadow a current member for the remainder of the season to learn the ropes.  You would be most welcome.

We also have 2 carnivals early on this term:

  • Saturday 10 February is the Captains Carnival - an internal “fun” carnival with dress ups, novelty races, games and family relays held between the two “Captains” teams. The theme for this years teams is “Pirates” and “Mermaids/Mermen” (swimmers will be allocated a team and you will be advised early next week of which team for those who have nominated). Nominations close this Saturday 3 February so please jump online and sign up. Parents / Spectators are encouraged to dress up too!
  • Saturday 2 March is a 3 way Carnival between Camp Hill, Cannon Hill and Norman Park being held at Cannon Hill. More information to follow.

New and Returning Members are still Welcome to come and join in the fun. You can register here https://www.camphillswim.club/
