Hello Croc Families,

What a fabulous turnout we had for the first week back and lots of new PB’s! Congratulations to all.

Committee Changes   

• We would like to give a shout out to Regan Dent who has done an outstanding role as our Club Chairperson for several years. Due to personal reasons Regan has stepped down from this role immediately - although fortunately he and his family will still be present pool side - and as such we have had a Committee re-shuffle. Tim Regan is now the Club Chairperson (previously Club Treasurer) and Kara White is now the Club Treasurer (previously Club Vice Chair).
• Are you interested in joining the committee? We have several positions that will need filling for next season. Perhaps you'd like to know a little bit more? Please feel free to ask a committee member for more information. You could shadow a current member for the remainder of the season to learn the ropes. You would be most welcome.
• Our next Committee Meeting is 630pm next Thursday 15 February at the Camp Hill Bowls Club, you are invited to join us.

Friday Club Night

• This Friday we are holding a Sibling Race. If your child would like to swim please come dressed to swim and be at the marshalling area for 620pm and our Captains will assist in running this event. They can swim any distance they are comfortable with - eg. 5m, 10m or up to 25m. Captains will be available to assist and if needed kkckboards can be used.
• Nominations for this weeks Club Night are open until 430pm on Friday. As usual if nominations have closed and you are no longer able to swim please email Jimmy at [email protected] or SMS on 0401 077 981.
• While you’re nominating your child(ren) have a look and sign up to volunteer this week. The kids love it when their parent(s) help out!
• As usual both car parks and pool entry only open from 6pm. If you arrive before this time please utilise street parking and wait outside the pool gates until our volunteers can set up, thank you.

Saturday Captains Carnival

• A fun filled afternoon of novelty events all managed by our Amazing Club Captains. Unfortunately Curtis will be absent at a Swimming Competition this weekend so Jordi is flying the Pirate Flag single handedly along with this pirate crew, whilst Charlotte and Mia are going “under the sea” with their Mermaids and Merman village. It should be a fun afternoon. Parents / Spectators are encouraged to dress up too. Both car parks and pool gate will be open from 2pm with events commencing at 230pm.  Please find attached the team lists again fyi.

• Coming up on Saturday 2 March at Cannon Hill SS is the 3 way Carnival between Camp Hill, Cannon Hill and Norman Park. More information to follow.
