Hello Crocs Families

Effective immediately we will require 4 parent volunteers each week to be “Observers” during free play / warm up before Club Nights commence. Each Observer will be required to wear a hi-vis vest and these will be available from the entry gate (and can be returned to the canteen at the end of your shift). There will be no swimming until we have these Volunteer Observers to ensure the safety of our swimmers as our Club continues to grow. Additionally Parents are still responsible for their own child’s safety in the pool during this time so please keep a watchful eye or arms reach away on younger children as needed.

Our Marshalling area will also be roped off so that swimmers know where they should be sitting during the night. No swimmers are to be seated on the concrete block near the bottom of the stairs. Thank you for your assistance with this.

We also welcomed some members to our Committee meeting this evening, thanks for joining us. If you would like to be more involved in our Club please feel free to reach out to a Committee member. We still have positions that need filling.

Meanwhile if you find yourself at the pool during the week, please feel free to check the freezer for Icy Cups and if needed, make a tray or two (or more) so they are ready for Club Nights. The procedure will soon be on display in the canteen, but they are super easy to make and take no time at all.
