Hello Crocs Families,

Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers last Saturday for the Election BBQ and Bake Stall. Any home bake containers can be collected from the Canteen on Friday night, thank you.

A special “thanks” goes to Ellen who chops the Onions each Club Night and for slicing 10Kg of Onion for Saturday’s Fundraiser. 👏⭐️

We are on the home stretch – with our big weekend of competition at the Crocs followed by our Celebratory Presentation Night where all swimmers will receive an award.

We still need many volunteers in order to run Friday, Saturday and Wednesday if you can assist please sign up on line or reach out to a Committee Member, thank you.

Friday Night is the IM Night

Swimmers must have completed one IM event during the season to compete.

Alternatively, they can swim in a 25m Freestyle and/or Breaststroke event.

Nominations close on Thursday afternoon.

As usual the gates and car park will be open from 6pm.

** Don’t forget to bring your “Cash” for the Lucky Squares Raffle – both a $5 and $10 raffle will be available **

Saturday is the Age Stroke Championship commencing at 2pm (130pm warm up)

Swimmers must have qualified to swim this event – see qualifying information online on the nominations page.

There will be no entry fee and no BBQ at this event, however we will still require Canteen volunteers please.

Presentation Night is next Wednesday, 27 March

Gates will open at 5pm with Pizzas arriving around 5.15+ and Presentations commencing at 5.30ish.

This is a fun filled night where we celebrate the achievements of all Swimmers (for new members, you may like to keep it as a surprise from your swimmer but all swimmers will get a trophy).

There is no entry fee and no BBQ, but the canteen will be serving whatever is left in stock.

Families can pre-order pizza’s (meal deal) at the canteen this week (orders close on Saturday). Please note if you complete an online order, you must still complete and return your form to the canteen or you won’t receive your pizza. A copy of the flyer is attached.

We need 3 volunteers to assist Jimmy in collecting the Pizza’s from Dominoes, Camp Hill at 5pm on this night. If you can assist please email Jimmy at [email protected] or leave your details at the canteen on Friday night, thank you.

Could each family please bring a dessert plate to share – we usually sit them out on a table and people can help themselves, so individual servings are best (store bought is fine too), thank you.

Swimmers can have a free swim after the Presentations, so bring your swimmers.

⭐️ Lastly, congratulations to the following Crocs Members - Club Captain Curtis P who has qualified for Nationals in 50m Breaststroke and to Emilie W who will be representing Met East next week as she attends the Queensland State School Sport Swimming Trials for the 200m Individual Medley ⭐️
