Dear Croc Families,

Congratulations to all our siblings / tiny tots who had an opportunity to race last week. You are all growing into confident swimmers. The next sibling race will be in Term 1 2025.

What a contrast in weather last Saturday was as the Crocs turned up the cheering at the Principals Cup Carnival in the constant rain. We came in a mighty second behind the Marshall Road Marlins, with the Rochedale Rays coming in third. Our next carnival is early in Term 1, 8 February (Week 2). Nominations will be called upon leading into Term 1 as they will close in Week 1.

Nominations and volunteer sign up for this week’s Club Night are open until 430pm on Friday at www.camphillswim.club/swim_meets or via the Swimtopia app. As usual if nominations have closed and you are no longer able to swim please email Jimmy and Mark at [email protected] or SMS on 0401077981.

Please note this week offers another chance for all our swimmers to practice the 100m Individual Medley ahead of the IM Night in Term 1 (of which the pre-requirement is to have swum in at least one (out of the 4 offered) of these practice events throughout the season). Due to the larger number of swimmers in this week’s special event only three individual strokes are offered this week – freestyle, breaststroke and backstroke. Swimmers are welcome to nominate in all events/strokes if they wish.

Can you help? Our biggest fundraiser each year is the Senior School Swim Carnival where we provide a meal deal (sausage sizzle, drink, icy cup) option for students, spectators and staff, along with home bake.
