Dear Croc Families,

Wow! What a night last Club night was with 140 swimmers in the water! And we celebrated our Captains too, with Oliver P achieving 150 swims for the Crocs and Charlotte P now holds the record for the most swims (club nights and carnivals) for the Crocs. Well done everyone, welcome to our new members, and thank to you all our wonderful volunteers who assisted.

You may have seen at the entry gate that we are now offering Pre-paid Entry Cards for $50 / 10 weeks worth of entries. If you only have a few in your family attending you can still use the card and you will receive additional raffle tickets as per the usual policy. The Pre-paid entry cards are being trialled to hopefully alleviate the queue and time taken to get in the gates. Please remember to bring your card with you each week to be stamped at the gate (look out for the VIP queue) and collect your raffle tickets. As this is a trial, entry cards not completed this season will be accepted next season.

Nominations are open for this week (until 430pm on Friday) at www.camphillswim.club/swim_meets or via the Swimtopia app. As usual if nominations have closed and you are no longer able to swim please contact Jimmy/Mark at [email protected] or 0401077981.

For those swimmers competing on Saturday in the Carnival with Wishart and Cooparoo, there should be a QR code with the programme up on Friday night for you to scan. Please note that the Carnival is being held at Wishart SS, Morella Street, Wishart with gates opening at 330pm (racing starts at 4pm)

Meanwhile we’d like to ask for your assistance to reduce noise for the announcements at the start of the evening to ensure families don’t miss vital information and for the race starts (especially around the diving block end of the stands for the starts including the walkway up near the BBQ), thank you.

Finally, next week we will run the tiny tots/sibling race. If your little one would like to participate please have them ready at the block end of the pool in their swimmers, cap and (optional) goggles for a 620pm start – there is no need to nominate them, just turn up.
