Congratulations to the Crocs on last weeks Carnival win against Wishart and Coorparoo!

We still need a few more volunteers tonight, so please jump online and have a look to see where help is required beforehand to avoid any delays to the start of the races.

Don’t forget the Pre-paid Entry Cards are available at the gate and can be used for next season if any un-used weeks. You will gain access to our “Express Entry Queue” too!

As you have noticed the stands and pool area can get quite loud and so we’re asking for your assistance to reduce noise for the announcements at the start of the evening to ensure families don’t miss vital information and for the race starts (especially around the diving block end of the stands for the starts including the walkway up near the BBQ), thank you.

Nominations are also now open for the Captains Carnival at www.camphillswim.club/swim_meets For those new to the Club, this carnival is operated by our amazing Captains and Vice Captains where it’s an afternoon of fun and silly races including parental involvement (more to come). We divide the attendees into 2 groups (and you will be advised in advance which group your child is in) as the Captains are currently pondering the theme for this years Carnival so get ready to be creative with your fancy dress and adults too are welcome and encouraged to dress up in one of the themes! Watch this space for the theme, but for now nominations are open!

Finally, tonight is our tots/sibling race. If your little one would like to participate please have them ready at the block end of the pool in their swimmers, cap and (optional) goggles for a 620pm start – there is no need to nominate them, just turn up.

-Week 9 – Age Stroke Championships, Saturday 29 March. More details to follow.

-Week 10 – Wednesday 2 April, Season Break Up Party and Presentation Night. (NB. No Club night this week).
