Dear Croc Families,

Great job to all our Tiny Tots on last weeks’ swim. Our last Tiny Tot race this season will be held in Week 7.

Meanwhile this week has the IM as the special event to give our swimmers an opportunity to practice before the IM Night later this term. We will still be offering reduced other races should your child wish to nominate for all or some of these in addition to the IM Event. Nominations are now open until 430pm on Friday at www.camphillswim.club/swim_meets or via the Swimtopia app. As usual if nominations have closed and you are no longer able to swim please contact Jimmy/Mark at [email protected] or 0401077981.

Please consider volunteering if you are able particularly in the Canteen and BBQ areas. Without these wonderful volunteers our families do not get fed and hydrated. Our friendly Committee are happy to help you learn the ropes on the various volunteering roles throughout the season.

Some house keeping updates:

• Please allow our “Express Pre-Paid Entry Card Families” to jump the queue to have their card stamped at their nominated desk. If you would like to use this “express entry” too, there are limited Pre-Paid Entry Cards still available at the gate. These can be used for next season if there any un-used weeks.
• Noise – thank you for being mindful of volume in the stands during the announcements and race starts last week. If you could please remind all children seated around the Marshalling area to be mindful each week would be wonderful, thank you.
• Rubbish – can you please check your area before you depart for any rubbish including under the seats as rubbish hides there as does lost water bottles, caps and goggles. Could you also please ensure your child(ren) have tidied up the Marshalling area too, thank you.
• Next week, Friday 28 February we will be commencing our warm up at 6pm (with no Free Play). More details to come next week.
• Meanwhile if there are any parents currently participating in the Swimathon to raise funds for the Starlight Foundation in February, could you please reach out to me via [email protected]

Finally, our Captains Carnival is being held on Saturday 15 March. This is fun afternoon of novelty races whereby our Captains organise the events and theme (yet to be announced). Once nominated your child(ren) will be split into one of two teams and they will be encouraged to wear fancy dress for a walk around the pool to kick the fun off. Parents/Spectators are also encouraged to dress up. Nominatons are now open for the Captains Carnival at www.camphillswim.club/swim_meets
